Acne Treatment

A steroid pharmaceutical is injected directly into an active, cystic lesion. This works rapidly to reduce swelling, redness, and pain. It cannot be used for all acne lesions but Nurse Sophie can assess and help determine if it is right for you.

Just one administration and the lesion is often shrunk down substantially by 24 hours.

Your skin will look unchanged but within 24 hours, the acne lesion will be reduced in redness, size, swelling, and pain.
